Eternal Life

Everlasting Life.

The most quoted verse of the bible says
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotton Son
that whosoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16

Another is like it
The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23

This is not reincarnation, coming back to this world as a higher or lower creature depending on how well we did this time round. Rather, since we have messed up this world, God will make a NEW heavens and NEW earth to be inhabited by believers in new resurrection bodies. Paul likens it to 'a building from God' in comparison to 'our earthly house, this tent' (2 Corinthians 5:1). Just as Jesus took on human form when he came to earth as a baby, so Our citizen ship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will transform our lowly body
that it might be conformed to His glorious body. Philippians 3:20.
Thus, our eternal, everlasting life will be in a new world free from sin and sorrow and death (Revelation 21:4).
